Johnny Kempt - guitar/ vocals

A prolific songwriter and performer, John is best known as the lead actor and singer in the "Buddy Holly" musical which toured both New Zealand and Australia to huge acclaim throughout 1992 and 1993. John was nominated for most promising male vocalist at the 1991 New Zealand Music Awards and has toured as the supporting act for international acts such as "Elvis Costello", "Crowded House" and "The Hoodoo Gurus". He has played to capacity crowds in some of Australasia's premiere venues. He acts, sings and plays guitars, bass, keyboards, drums and percussion. John was a core cast member of "The Rose Noelle" which won "Best Documentary/Drama:" at the 1997 New Zealand Film and Television Awards.

Ian Dahlberg - guitar/ keyboards/ vocals

Ian has been an active woodwind doubler in the L.A. area for the past 10 years or so. He has played oboe in the American Youth Symphony under the direction of Mehli Mehta, and currently plays in the San Fernando Valley Symphony Orchestra. He also plays sax in various jazz bands from time to time including the Southern California Jazz Company and the Blue Rhythm Jazz Orchestra. He has played 3 different national musical tours: "Singin' In The Rain," "Damn Yankees," and "Showboat". Ian also does a fair amount of music copying for various composers such as Guy Moon and James Domine. He was Steve Allen's copyist as well. He works full time at a software company and, oh yeah, he plays guitar too.

Brian Mendelsohn - bass/ vocals

Brian has been doing all sorts of music and audio production work since relocating to LA from Texas in 1989. He's done sound editing and mixing for many cartoons, including "The Ren & Stimpy Show", as well as digital audio editing and synth programming on CD releases from such artists as "David Byrne", "Earth Wind & Fire", "POCO", "Mike Nesmith"and others. Since he was a wee lad, Brian was interested in music and audio technology and got his first synthesizer in '74, and his first digital studio production system in '84. He became a regional product specialist for several companies, including New England Digital and Spectral Synthesis. Besides bass, Brian plays keyboards, brass instruments, percussion, and more recently the Chapman Stick®, and has written, performed and produced music for documentary films, TV shows and internet cartoons. He continues to delve into various emerging media technologies just for the fun of it!

Evan Urkofsky - drums

An L.A. native, Evan has been playing the drums since before most of you were born. He played in the first band ever to cover "Smoke on the Water."
He's played in several notorious New Wave/Punk bands such as R.I.P, Ayn Rand and Whatever. He also played in several non-notorious bands such as Jaguar, Silver Steam and Mu.

Hobbies: Changing lanes into peoples' blind spots; Ebonics.
